This group is for those who can hold a conversation in French and its main focus will be the comprehension of the spoken language. It will require regular personal work (listening and recording of a radio or television programme to be transcribed and then condensed orally).

During the class the work will be reviewed and we will explore the different ways of expressing an idea with the use of synonyms, similar expressions and so forth.

Additionally, the participants will take it in turns to come with a chosen text (which would preferably pertain to French culture or current events) which would be read first by the facilitator and then by the participants so as to work on the pronunciation. We will also work on the comprehension, once everyone has a good understanding of the text we will discuss the ideas developed.
