A warm welcome for people of every nationality.

Our full title is ‘Association Culturelle Internationale du Périgord’ (ACIP) and our aim is to help people of all nationalities living, or arriving, in the Périgord to integrate into the local French way of life. We encourage participation in local activities, offer members mutual support and provide cultural and social opportunities.

ACIP came into being in 2003 to formalise a group of British, Dutch and French friends and acquaintances who were getting together to provide mutual support. As membership increased the need for organisation grew and so an official Association recognised by the French authorities was formed with the aim of creating a multi-national support group in the Périgord.

ACIP currently has around 300 members representing many different nationalities, a good number of whom give freely of their time to run the various activities and serve on the committee. Browse this website to see what is on offer for a small annual membership fee (click here to see How to Join).
