Inauguration of the new ACIP Clubhouse in Le Buisson de Cadouin
On the 1st of April (no, this was not a joke) ACIP celebrated the opening of its new clubhouse. ACIP had recently moved from Le Bugue to its new clubhouse, located at No. 4, rue François Meulet in Le Buisson de Cadouin (l'ancienne mairie). A small army of volunteers had undertaken a major renovation project, offering their particular skills and energy to transform and adapt the building to ACIP's precise needs.
Mrs Marie-lise Marsat, departmental councillor for the canton of Lalinde and Mayor of Le Buisson de Cadouin unveiled a work of art, created by member Martine Meerbeeck, which symbolises in collage the large number of activities of ACIP today.
Various other members of the local community were also invited and the event was a wonderful opportunity to kick-start our new life in Le Buisson.
