This class is aimed at those with some fluency in French who want opportunities to hone their conversational French on a wide range of topics.
Who will benefit from this class?
This class is for you if you have an advanced level of French and are comfortable conversing in social situations. You may not be entirely fluent and may make mistakes but you will have a good understanding of, and facility in, both written and spoken French.
What will you do in this class?
This class involves free conversation; talking in some depth around a chosen topic. As such, the conversation often moves on naturally to other subjects. We often discuss the differences between the French approach to situations and our own. The class is conducted entirely in French. Mistakes are corrected, as necessary, without stemming the flow of conversation.
Who leads this class?
Marie Lacheze, a founding member of ACIP, is fully bilingual and had an international career in adult training. She brings a deep knowledge and fascinating insights into French culture and life. She is ably assisted by Anne Civel.
